Step 1 - Choose your chain
Pick your chain from our selection of 925 Sterling Silver, or 14k Gold Filled. Chains are cut bespoke to your size preference

Step 3 - It's time to weld!
Your chosen chain and charms/connectors will be seamlessly fused, symbolising an everlasting bond.
This process is very safe and painless, by emitting a precise electrical spark to securely seal the chain link
Step 2 - Choose your charms & connectors
We have a variety of charms (which dangle off the chain) and connectors (which connect two ends of the chain). These are optional but make your piece of jewellery truly one-of-a-kind!

FAQ's
How do I book? - Whilst I am in the process of setting up a booking system, please message/WhatsApp me on 07885433421 or you can email me on info@permanentmakeupdurham.co.uk
What is Permanent Jewellery? - Permanent Jewellery refers to a piece of jewellery (bracelet, anklet, necklace or ring) which is welded closed, instead of secured with a clasp
Is it safe? - Yes, Permanent Jewellery is very safe. A high quality welder is used which emits a precise spark to create the weld. You are provided with safety glasses to protect your eyes from the spark, and a leather patch is used to protect your skin under where the weld takes place
Please note that not all Permanent Jewellery artists put their customers safety first. There is a popular 'unbranded' welder, described as a large dark-grey box - these welders are extremely unsafe, create poor welds and are known to mis-fire, risking injuring the client. If you see this welder, this is your first red flag and you should avoid this Permanent Jewellery business. Using this machine would also likely invalidate their insurance since it does not display a CE mark
Does it hurt? - No - the weld does not come in contact with your skin
Is there a minimum age restriction to get Permanent Jewellery? - The minimum age to get Permanent Jewellery is 10 years old. I am permitted by my insures to obtain permission from a parent or guardian for anybody under the age of 18
Are there any restrictions to who can get Permanent Jewellery? - Anybody with a pacemaker should not get Permanent Jewellery
Can it be removed? - Yes - should you wish to remove the jewellery, you can cut it off using scissors. If you cut the jump ring, which is where the weld took place, this will keep the chain in tact and can be re-welded at a later date if you wish
How long does it take? - Each appointment is allocated 30 minutes
What metals do you use? - Here at Infinite Links, we only use 925 Sterling Silver and 14k Gold Filled, for all our chains, charms and connectors
Can it be worn through security? - The materials used are not magnetic and so won't set off the security alarms
Can I bring someone with me? - My work space is only small. I can accommodate two people in the room with me, but any more would need to wait outside unfortunately
What are your prices? - Sterling silver bracelets start at £50, Gold filled £55; Sterling silver anklets start at £60, Gold filled £65; Sterling silver necklaces start at £80, Gold filled £90. All prices include 1 free charm or connector. There is a very small collection of chains, which have an additional fee of £5, £8 or £10, regardless of where on your body. There are also a small amount of charms and connectors which have an additional fee of £5 plus original price of jewellery. However, the vast majority of each service will be the original prices (e.g sterling silver bracelet is £50 including 1 free charm/connector). If you wanted any additional charms or connectors these are priced at £10 for sterling silver, or £12 for gold filled. Additional chains added to the original are £20
Do you have a warranty? - All my welds are stress tested during the appointment. However, I offer a 28 day jump ring (where the weld takes place) warranty. Should this come away within 28 days of your appointment I will re-weld this free of charge. You must have the original chain and charms/connectors. If these are lost you will need to purchase new ones
Is there anything else I should know? - If there is a specific charm or connector, like an initial or birthstone, you would really like, please speak to me in advance so I can make sure I have them in stock before your appointment
Metals, particularly Sterling Silver, are liable to tarnish over time when they come into contact with elements. Making sure you wash them after they are exposed to chlorine, sea water, perfumes, chemicals etc will help keep them shiny. You are provided with a cleaning cloth which you should use regularly to keep the tarnish away
